We are still buzzing from Cape Town, feeling more inspired than ever. So what better time to take it to the stage again!

House of Knowledge x Kunsthal present Museumnacht 010: A Vibe At The Kunsthal!
On March 2nd, House of Knowledge is stationed in the cafe of Kunsthal Rotterdam with talented Dj’s and mesmerizing acts. We will start the night with exceptional tunes by DJ’s AFRO and NIVEK. We close the night with a trailblazing collab of the talented SIEM, Junya and Kay Slice. So mark all your calendars, ‘cause you already know that it’s about to go down at Kunsthal Rotterdam!
Higher Life
HIGHER-LIFE is a jam session initiated by Junya (Junior Appiah), one of the most talented drummers in our country. You may know him as the drummer in the bands of Rimon, Fullcrate, Akwasi, Yung Nelg and BnnyHunna. Come and enjoy a jam session of great quality. All musicians are welcome to come on stage!
OPEN HOUSE with RM Tainment
Instead of hosting our usual OPEN HOUSE, we have invited our friend, colleague and most of all key player in the music scene, RM Tainment, to answer all your pressing questions.
How does it work?
Our HOUSE GUEST will sit down with each talent for 30 minutes. Come prepared & make use of all the time provided. This might be ‘the’ conversation to reach the next level in your career!

We are siked to announce the return of our most epic live Hiphop showcase: Know The Ledge: The Prototypes Live. It has been a minute, but now we are coming in strong. Start marking all your calendars for 20 October 2023 as we kick-off Kunsthal’s first edition of Friday Night LIVE by celebrating 50 years of Hiphop with 2 powerhouses. All the way from US, is internationally renowed DJ Trauma. You may know him as the official tour DJ for legendary comedian Dave Chappelle or as the headline DJ for Jay-Z & Beyonce’s Baby Shower, and many more. Repping Holland’s local talent in an epic way is multi-talented musician, Bnnyhunna. As he continues to set the bar high, this Ghanaian kid in South-East Amsterdam will effortlessly claim his role as musical director & co-composer of Know The Ledge this fall.

To immediately get into the vibe of the event, Hiphophuis will place the Moving Sounds bus in front of the entrance of the Kunsthal on October 20, especially 'for the occasion'. Moving Sounds is a collaboration between Sony Music and Hiphophuis to promote Rotterdam talents via a mobile music studio. Expect super dope DJs who will play all your favorite Hip-Hop tracks. Eargasms guaranteed!

Love & Hip Hop is a short movie in which the theme love is displayed with the help of a storyline, a Hip Hop mix that contributes to the story and snippets of Hip Hop (and RnB) related music videos to visualize it all.
At the same time, the short movie shows how the genre developed itself and which artists have played a role in that. You can find hints of that by seeing the artists or hearing the songs, or by knowing about the samples or producers, without it interrupting the story of Derrick and Maleeka. This makes it the perfect ode to and celebration of Hip Hop!

Want to claim some knowledge? We got you! Moderator Kim Dankoor will talk to various founders who have made an important contribution to building the Rotterdam Hip Hop scene. As usual the right grooves and epic sounds are provided by our all-star band led by Bnnyhunna and drummer Junya. So you think you got what it takes? Come claim the stage and share you talent, presence, good vibes with us.
Make A Scene House Sessions Live Jam
On Saturday, June 25, we will finally organize another House Session, this time in the Hall of the Doelen from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
As House of Knowledge we are part of Make a Scene, which is the place to be for that real old school open stage vibe.
A mix of established and emerging artists take the stage and play their own music or experiment with new sounds, accompanied by an all-star band led by drummer Junya (RIMON, Yung Nnelg, Akwasi) and band members multi-instrumentalist/artist/producer Bnnyhunna (EP Sintha 2022), producer/artist Anan Ya'ari, who just released his debut EP YU and Yasper (producer/guitarist).
Throughout the day you can find us at 5 different internships throughout Rotterdam; Schouwburgplein, Jurian hall, Hall Main hall, Doelen studio and the Party Hall. From battles, talks, live performances, roller skating jams & workshops to sick afterparties, everything has been pulled out! You really can't miss this one!
