We received a grant !

We are delighted to share that Oscar De Pluijm nominated us for the Wim de Monchy grant in 2023 and we received it!

Oscar van der Pluijm is a cultural entrepreneur, manager, advisor and musician. He is currently director of the World Music & Dance Center foundation and the GROUNDS music venue. It goes without saying that he beliefs in our foundation to have taken it upon himself to nominate us. We are extremely grateful for receiving this gift and welcome this blessing with our entire hearts.

The Monchy grant is intended to promote music education and participation in the Netherlands. There are no special requirements for spending this money, so one can use it however they want - may it be a project, a study trip, conference visit, purchase of instruments or equipment, studio rental, and so on.

House of Knowledge will use the grant for our upcoming exchange project in South Africa!
